Hi, we are 5th graders from River Oaks Elementary and we’re working on something called Exhibition. We are making this website for our action. All these recipes are diabetic friendly recipes. If you want to create a recipe, leave a comment and we will review it and post it. The comment section is at the bottom of the page. The recipe must have low carbs and high protein. We hope you guys like these recipes! Enjoy!

Balsamic Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp. of dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp. of honey
  • 1/2 of a green onion (chopped)
  • 2 (4 oz) salmon fillets

  • Total Carbohydrates 17 g
  • Dietary Fiber 0 g
  • Net Carbohydrates 17 g
  • Protein 26 g
  • Sodium 200 mg

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  • Mix dijon mustard, honey, and balsamic vinegar, and the chopped green onions into a bowl of any size.
  • Put salmon fillets onto parchment paper

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • Brussels Sprouts (recommended) 1 lb
  • Olive Oil 2 tbsp.
  • Balsamic Vinegar (depended on what you want)
  • Parchment Paper 1
  • Cutting Board 1

Directions

  • Pull the leaves off the core of the brussels sprout.
  • Mix the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  • Put the brussels sprouts in the oven (broil) for 5 minutes and after 5 minutes shake it around and put it back in for 2 minutes.

Fage Greek Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Fage Greek Yogurt
  • 3 small (recommended) blueberries
  • 1 sliced in half (recommended) strawberry
  • 1/3 cup of Autumn’s Gold Grain Free Granola with Coconut
